Manchester City are aiming to seal their place in the Champions League quarter-finals when they take on FC Copenhagen on Wednesday night.

Manchester City come into this game in incredible form. They are not just 19 games unbeaten in all competitions, but in the Champions League, they have gone 20 games unbeaten since the start of their winning campaign last year in this competition. Drawing six games, winning 14. They put right a 1-1 draw with Chelsea a couple of weeks ago by thrashing Luton Town 6-2 in their FA Cup Fifth Round tie, to set up a quarterfinal with Newcastle United and then started off a crucial run of games in the League with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United at the weekend, coming from a goal down to clinch the win with another outstanding second half performance. 

Copenhagen's recent form has been lackluster, with three defeats in their last five matches. A 2-0 loss to Midtjylland over the weekend pushed their opponents to the top of the Danish Superliga. While Copenhagen managed a notable victory against a Manchester side earlier in the season with a 4-3 win over Manchester United in the Group Stage, facing a stronger team like Manchester City presents a much tougher challenge, especially with their 3-1 deficit from the first leg. Despite showing determination and resilience in this competition, it's likely they'll face a tough match at the Etihad on Wednesday night.

Given their big lead from the first leg, Manchester City could probably opt to sit back and take it easy in this game, but that just isn't Pep Guardiola's style. City have scored at least three goals in all three of their Champions League home games this season and also grabbed three against Manchester United at the weekend. Copenhagen are tricky opponents and could grab a consolation against this City backline, which isn't the tightest.
