Level on points in the Premier League table, an out-of-form Arsenal and an in-form Nottingham Forest face off in an intriguing clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Once tipped as title contenders for the 2024-25 season, Arsenal are now fighting to stay in the race for a top-four finish, with their inconsistent form leaving them nine points off the summit after 11 games.  

Despite their struggles, Arsenal remain strong at home, unbeaten in eight Premier League matches at the Emirates and scoring multiple goals in seven of those games. However, defensive issues have seen them concede more goals than Nottingham Forest, who boast the league's second-best defensive record with just 10 goals shipped.  

Forest, under Nuno Espirito Santo, suffered a 3-1 defeat to Newcastle before the international break but had previously secured impressive wins over Crystal Palace, Leicester City, and West Ham. They sit fifth and could leapfrog Arsenal into the top four with a win or a draw, depending on Chelsea’s result against Leicester earlier in the day.  

The visitors also carry an impressive seven-match unbeaten run on the road in the league, spending just over 102 minutes trailing all season. However, history favors Arsenal, who have won their last five home games against Forest in all competitions, including a pair of 2-1 victories in last season’s Premier League meetings.
