Monaco regained form before the international break with a 1-0 Champions League win at Bologna and a thrilling 3-1 comeback at Strasbourg, where they scored three late goals. They now lead Ligue 1 with seven goals in the final 15 minutes of matches this season and sit third, six points behind PSG. However, Monaco will aim to improve their home form after a draw with Lille and a loss to Angers, risking a rare three-game home drought if they fail to score again. They have a strong record against Brest, winning their last five home meetings.  

Brest meanwhile, have impressed in Europe, sitting fourth in their Champions League group and nearing the knockout stages. Domestically, however, they are 12th, just three points above the relegation zone, with six league losses already this season.
