Two teams battling near the bottom of the La Liga table will face off, as Getafe hosts Real Valladolid at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Getafe have struggled this season with just one win, seven draws, and five losses in 13 La Liga matches, placing them 17th with 10 points, level with 18th-placed Espanyol. While scoring has been an issue—netting only eight times, the joint-worst record in the league—they have been defensively solid, conceding just 11 goals, one of the best records in La Liga. Their only win came in a 2-0 home victory over Alaves in late September, and they are winless in their last five league games against Real Valladolid, including a goalless draw in June 2023.  

Real Valladolid sit 19th with nine points from 13 games and have the league’s worst defensive record, conceding 25 goals. They recently drew 1-1 with Athletic Bilbao, narrowly missing out on a win. After earning promotion last season, they aim to secure back-to-back top-flight campaigns for the first time since 2021. Valladolid has a strong recent record against Getafe, winning three of their last four La Liga meetings.
