Arsenal Women aim to secure their fourth win in a row as they host Juventus Women at the Emirates Stadium in the Women’s Champions League.

Arsenal Women have enjoyed a resurgence under Renee Slegers, who took over from Jonas Eidevall last month. The Gunners are now unbeaten in six matches, with five wins and a draw, including three consecutive victories in all competitions.

Their winning streak began with a commanding 5-0 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion, followed by an impressive 4-0 win over Juventus in last week’s Champions League clash in Italy. Goals from Frida Maanum, Stina Blackstenius, Mariona Caldentey, and Caitlin Foord secured their second group-stage victory, leaving them three points behind leaders Bayern Munich with three games to play.  

Juventus  meanwhile, face an uphill battle to reach the knockout stages after winning just one of their three group games. They opened with a narrow 1-0 win over Vålerenga but suffered back-to-back defeats against Bayern (2-0) and Arsenal (4-0), leaving them in a precarious position.  

The Italian side risks elimination with two games remaining if they lose at the Emirates and Bayern avoid defeat in the other Group C fixture. Their domestic form has also been inconsistent, with Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Sassuolo highlighting defensive vulnerabilities despite twice taking the lead.
