Fighting to maintain their League A status, Switzerland must secure a home win against Serbia to keep survival hopes alive. Murat Yakin’s side have struggled in Group 4, managing only a single point from their last outing, a 2-2 draw with Denmark where they twice lost the lead. Previous losses to Spain, Denmark, and Serbia have left them at the bottom, meaning a defeat or draw would see them automatically relegated. A win in Zurich, however, would set up a dramatic final matchday against group leaders Spain, giving them a chance to avoid demotion through a playoff.

Serbia: 

Sitting third in Group 4, Serbia still have a shot at the Nations League knockout phase if they can secure all three points in Zurich and results elsewhere go their way. Despite a heavy loss to Spain in Cordoba, Serbia's hopes remain alive, as a win would take the promotion race to the final round. However, a defeat combined with a favorable Swiss result would put Serbia at risk of relegation themselves.
