Real Betis aims to secure their third consecutive La Liga victory as they host Mallorca.

Real Betis struggled at the start of the season, earning only two points from their first three matches with draws against Girona and Alaves, followed by a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid before the international break. However, they've bounced back with two consecutive wins, defeating Leganes 2-0 on September 13 and Getafe 2-1 five days later, thanks to Giovani Lo Celso's brace. This has put them in eighth place with eight points, three behind Villarreal. Meanwhile, they will compete in the Conference League, starting their campaign against Legia Warsaw in October after facing Mallorca, Las Palmas, and Espanyol in La Liga. 

Historically, Betis has had the upper hand against Mallorca, winning their last five encounters, including a 1-0 victory in January, and they haven't lost to them since May 2013.

In contrast, Mallorca has struggled against Betis, failing to win in their last eight league meetings and not scoring in the last three.They began their season with a draw against Real Madrid but faced setbacks against Osasuna and Sevilla before securing their first win against Leganes. Recently, they bounced back with a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad, courtesy of Abdon Prats' penalty, leaving them ninth in the standings with eight points from six matches.
