Doncaster Rovers will look for their fourth straight win across all competitions as they visit Harrogate Town at the Exercise Stadium.

After suffering their third defeat in five league games, Harrogate Town sits 20th in League Two with just four points. They lost 1-0 to Cheltenham Town on Saturday, conceding a late goal despite having a point secured until stoppage time.

In their fifth consecutive season in England's fourth tier, Harrogate is looking to improve on last year's 13th-place finish. Their sole league win this season came against Colchester United, but they have since lost three games without scoring, including a 5-0 defeat to Preston North End in the EFL Cup.

Harrogate has yet to earn a point at home this season and will aim to replicate their 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers from last season, where Sam Folarin, James Daly, and Abraham Odoh scored.

Doncaster Rovers, despite their higher position, have not defeated Harrogate in their last four League Two encounters, losing three of those matches and trailing 8-3 in goals scored. However, current form suggests Doncaster might end this trend.

Leading the League Two table with 12 points, Doncaster edged out Gillingham 1-0 on Saturday with a goal from veteran striker Billy Sharp. They also secured a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town in the EFL Trophy last week, with Joe Ironside scoring the winning goal.

Having finished last season strongly with a 10-game winning streak before losing in the playoffs, Doncaster is hopeful for automatic promotion this year, and a midweek win would further boost their momentum.
