Tottenham Hotspur will look to rebound from a frustrating 1-1 draw with Leicester City when they host Everton on Saturday. Despite taking an early lead through Pedro Porro, Tottenham were unable to hold on as Jamie Vardy equalized for Leicester. The game was further impacted by a serious head injury to Rodrigo Bentancur, which interrupted Leicester's momentum. With only two wins in their last eight league matches, Spurs are eager to build on their strong home form, having won five of their last six opening home games of the season.

Everton:

Everton’s Premier League campaign got off to a rough start with a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. The Toffees were outplayed as Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma, Danny Welbeck, and Simon Adingra found the net, and Ashley Young's red card compounded their troubles. This heavy loss leaves Everton at the bottom of the table and continues their poor August record, with four consecutive defeats in the month over the past three years. Everton has also struggled on the road in 2024, with seven losses and four draws from their last 11 away games. Despite a 2-2 draw against Tottenham earlier this year, Everton has not won in their last seven encounters with Spurs.
