However, they enjoyed a remarkable Champions League campaign, making it to the group stage and surprisingly finishing second in a tough group with Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Galatasaray. They were knocked out by Manchester City in the round of 16. Under Jacob Neestrup, Copenhagen has started the new season well, remaining unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions, although they recently drew 1-1 with Viborg.
