Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reached an agreement with Manchester United for a transfer to West Ham United.
Manchester United and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have reportedly reached a settlement regarding his upcoming transfer to West Ham United. With Ben Johnson's move to Ipswich Town earlier this summer, West Ham are left with Vladimir Coufal as their only right-back. Initially, West Ham targeted Bayern Munich's Noussair Mazraoui, but after Manchester United entered the fray, the focus shifted to Wan-Bissaka, who is in the last year of his contract.
Wan-Bissaka was scheduled for a medical on Sunday, but it was delayed due to finalizing the exit settlement. The defender is now set to complete a £15m transfer to West Ham, ending his five-year tenure at Old Trafford where he made 190 appearances and won the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
United are waiting to finalize Wan-Bissaka's departure before concluding the deal for Mazraoui. The Moroccan full-back is expected to join United for an initial €15m plus €5m in add-ons, signing a five-year contract with an option for an additional year. Mazraoui, along with Bayern's Matthijs de Ligt, could be introduced as new signings on Monday and might be available for the Premier League opener against Fulham on Friday.
