The stage is set for a decisive clash at Arena Fonte Nova as Bahia welcomes Botafogo, with a spot in the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals up for grabs.

Bahia faced a challenging start in the first leg against Botafogo but rallied to score a crucial goal late in the opening half to secure a draw.

This marked only the second time this year that Rogerio Ceni's team conceded in the Copa do Brasil, and the second instance in July where they came from behind to salvage a result after trailing 1-0.

A win on Wednesday would see them reach the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2018.
