It is known what honours await the England team if they win the European Championship
Despite the fact that the England national team is still in the run-up to the European Championship final and it is not clear what the outcome will be for Gareth Southgate's men, if they triumph, they are ready to be welcomed home in style.
Celebrations are already underway and, according to the Evening Standard, they will be lavish. In London, a parade will be prepared for the national team, starting from the Guildhall and stretching all the way to Buckingham Palace, where members of the national team will be received by King Charles and other members of the Royal Family.
Part of Monday's celebrations will also take place in Downing Street, where the newly elected British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will be waiting to meet with the team.
There are also some media reports that Gareth Southgate himself will be elevated to knighthood status if he wins the European Championship.
It will be recalled that victory in the Euro 2024 final over Spain on Sunday will be England's first international trophy in nearly 60 years since their 1966 World Cup final triumph over Germany.
