Brazil faces Paraguay in its Copa America Group D match in Las Vegas on Friday after a disappointing goalless draw against lowly Costa Rica in its opener.

Paraguay:

Paraguay are bottom of the group after losing their opening group fixture. They conceded two first half goals against Colombia on Monday. A goal was pulled back in the second half but they just couldn't get an equalizer.

Now they take on Brazil with a final fixture against Costa Rica to follow. The pressure will be on them to get some points on the board, if not here definitely against Costa Rica.

They are also struggling in their World Cup qualifying group, currently being seventh in the table. The White and Red have only won one of their last six internationals, a 1-0 win over Panama earlier this month.

Scoring goals is not their strong point. They have managed only three in their last ten matches and haven't scored twice in a game in the past year.

Brazil:

Brazil bid to get off the mark in this year's Copa America tournament. Their opening game in Group D was against Costa Rica and they definitely expected more than drawing that match 0-0. They are on the back foot now and trailing group leaders Colombia by a couple of points. 

They play the Colombians in their final fixture so still have a strong chance of finishing top of this group.

It will be a concern to them though that they have now drawn three of their last four matches. Other stalemates came in a 3-3 draw with Spain and most recently, a 1-1 result against the USA, who they could meet in the next round.

The Green-Yellow are on a good unbeaten run  They have gone five matches without a defeat and that includes beating England 1-0 at Wembley in March. A 3-2 win over Mexico was also earned earlier this month.

It's an improvement in form though as the Little Canary had gone four games without a win in their World Cup qualifying group. They're only sixth in the South American qualifying group so have some work to do after hopefully being sucessful in this tournament.

Prediction: Paraguay 0-2 Brazil
